,”) is a lecturer in the Martin (Szusz) Department of Land of Israel Studies and Archaeology at Bar-Ilan University. One of his specialties is the rural areas of Judea during the Second Temple, Mishnah and Talmud periods. He is currently working on the publication of the excavations (1999–2001 Seasons) at Horvat ‘Ethri in the Judean Shephelah.
